" RONC DAL DIAUL "
The Devil's bridge is one of the symbols of the city of Cividale del Friuli. Boldly suspended over the Natisone river and shrouded in legend, it is said that the people of Cividale had asked the Devil for help to build the bridge.
Not far from this city symbol was born Ronc dal Diaul (in Friulian dialect Ronc is the best exposed part of a vineyard), a project that involves Joe Bastianich and the Meregalli Group.
The company consists of 10 hectares of vineyards on the Colli Orientali del Friuli, in two distinct areas of the DOC. All production is certified organic in full compliance with sustainable and integrated agriculture. Ronc dal Diaul creates unique wines that tell and contain the essence of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and at the same time stand out for their body, structure and balance.
The territory and the exaltation of the native vines: Friulano, Malvasia, Ribolla Gialla, Schioppettino and Refosco, are the keywords of this new and exciting winemaking adventure."
