The potential of the volcanic soil sloping down towards the sea and the meeting with Riccardo Cotarella, a winemaker of great value particularly sensitive to the recovery and enhancement of Southern wines, led to the birth, in 1994, of a product that aroused incredible emotion in everyone . With a balanced blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso, also known as "Pere 'e Palummo" obtained from vineyards exposed to the South West, between four hundred and five hundred meters on the enchanting gulf of Gaeta, the "Terra di Lavoro", a wine of great structure, suitably aged in small oak barrels.
Ancient traditions define the Anima Mundi as the unity of the whole, the universal meaning capable of manifesting itself in every single aspect of nature. This is the spirit and ambition of our passito wine: to represent the beating heart of our Colli Ripani in one gulp. Bright yellow in color tending to amber, intensely fragrant and soft in taste, Anima Mundi is obtained according to the traditional drying method of native passerina grapes, carefully selected following a meticulous process that controls every stage of production: from pruning to collection.
By "closed" was meant a circumscribed olive grove often delimited by stone walls. Chiusa di Pannone was also the same, while today it is the single vineyard used exclusively for the homonymous wine.
