The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Doc of Nic Tartaglia 's company is produced with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. The training system adopted is the typical Abruzzo pergola. The vineyard is about 21 years old and is located 300 meters above sea level in a particularly windy position. After manual harvesting towards the end of September, the grapes are softly pressed and static clarified. Refine a few months in steel. A fresh, intense, quite soft and harmonious wine. Bisanzio, Montepulciano DOP with the Codice Citra , is a beautiful example of the potential of Montepulciano. A vine rich in character, perfect for giving life to wines destined for a long aging, but which is also able to express itself at its best in products, like this one, born to be enjoyed from an early age. The vinification is traditional, with a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. For aging, after a short rest in steel tanks, it is passed into wooden barrels capable of enhancing its organoleptic characteristics. Intense ruby red color, the nose has an elegant bouquet, in which hints of black cherry and wild berries are combined with notes of black pepper, cocoa and balsamic aromas. In the mouth it reveals a full, harmonious wine, with a nice tannin, typical for the Montepulciano grape. The finish is long and pleasant.
