Vino Moscato Dolce Moscardello is the ancient dialect name given to this delicious sweet wine. It is a precious and limited production, obtained from the noble Moscato vine. To enhance its typical characteristics, the grapes are subjected to careful vinification with "natural" fermentation, which contributes to making Moscardello a jewel of Abruzzo enology. Vinification: In white, with crushing and soft pressing of the grapes. Fermentation: the base must ferments at a controlled temperature in an autoclave with selected yeasts. Second fermentation lasts about 15-20 days. Color: Straw yellow, with greenish reflections. Smell: Typically aromatic. Taste: Sweet, balanced, persistent.

No secrets. No makeup. This Chardonnay Terre di Chieti PGI Bisanzio proposed by Codice Citra is a simple, but pleasant, white wine to be served throughout the meal. When on the table, of course, the sea and its fruits dominate. Served chilled it can also represent a valid alternative to the classic aperitif bubble. At 90%, guests will propose to continue with the same glass once dinner is served. It comes from pure Chardonnay grapes, harvested at flat ripening in the vineyards located near Ortona, in the province of Chieti. Soft pressing and cold maceration to obtain a clear must which, once decanted, can be fermented, strictly at a controlled temperature to preserve all the goodness of its aromas, in stainless steel tanks. The result is a white, delicately scented, with a brilliant straw color. The nose reveals the warmth of its homeland well. Chardonnay, in fact, shows notes of tropical fruit and yellow flesh. In the mouth, however, it is above all fresh and well balanced in all its components.

It is difficult (if not impossible) to find fault with this Merlot Terre di Chieti PGI Bisanzio. A wine made to be pleasant and to satisfy the tastes of a large audience of enthusiasts of the great Abruzzo winery. Citra produces it starting from a manual harvest of the bunches that have reached perfect ripeness. Then follows a long phase of maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. When the fermentation phase is also definitively concluded, the wine obtained is left to rest in oak barrels, where it also carries out the so-called malolactic conversion. The result is a wine characterized by a deep red color, with purple hues. Fruit dominates the nose, with evident notes of blackberry and currant, to which are added pleasant spicy sensations of leather and pepper. In the mouth it is pleasantly harmonious, full-bodied, soft and with a good structure. If we really want to find a flaw ... Let's say that he always has the habit of always ending too soon. Better to prevent and always have a second bottle available.
