For five centuries, the Conti Zecca have inhabited the lands of Leverano, in the heart of Salento. They have always listened to the land, understood it and put it to good use, to the point of completing, in the early 1900s, the production cycle from cultivation to vinification of the grapes from their own estates, without ever altering the delicate balance of the place. The transition from the vineyard to the winery was a natural consequence, and is still followed on the farm today with the same dedication.

The transition from the vineyard to the winery was a natural consequence, followed in the farm still today with the same dedication.
Over time, the identity of people and place overlapped until it faded into an interweaving of memory and nature. A harmonious correspondence made of passion and respect, guarded with the calmness and discretion of one who is committed to doing things with care.
This spirit permeates everything that is born in Leverano, such as the wines Conti Zecca, which alone tell a story of quality founded on the indigenous Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Malvasia Bianca vines, as well as prized allochthonous varieties that are well suited to the Salento territory. The family's four estates, Cantalupi, Donna Marzia, Saraceno and Santo Stefano, are facets of this unique feeling and give life to harmonious wines that many can enjoy.
