Our History
Our history began in 1919 when the brothers Alfredo, Francesco and Alberto Pardi founded Cantina Fratelli Pardi, at that time located on the ground floor of the San Marco Hospital, which belonged to the San Francesco complex in Montefalco. At the time, the grapes were partly owned and partly purchased from local landowners. The wines produced were both white and red, but it was the Sagrantino, at the time exclusively raisin wine, that was the most important production. Deliveries covered the entire Umbrian territory and sometimes took place outside the region, such as those destined for the Vatican. In 2002, driven by the common desire of the Pardi family not to lose a tradition, the great-grandsons Francesco, Gianluca Rio and Alberto Mario, with the help of their parents Agostino and Alberto, restructured the building in Montefalco to re-establish their great-grandparents' winery. Today, it is the brothers Gianluca Rio and Alberto Mario, with their enthusiasm and hard work, who strengthen the centuries-old bond between wine and the Pardi family.

Cantina Fratelli Pardi,
continuity in tradition.
"Our wines have a personality of their own. Each vintage is different from the others and it is in our particular interest to respect what nature offers us, without forcing or manipulating our products in any way. We strongly believe in our territory, its culture and winemaking tradition, and we intend to communicate all this to the world through a bottle that is able to convey our values alone'.
Alberto Mario Pardi
