The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes from the Marina Palusci di Pianella (PE) company are grown using the organic farming method.
It is Pianella, the fifth largest municipality in the province of Pescara, that is home to the Azienda Agricola Palusci Marina, which has been producing quality extra virgin olive oil and equally fine wine for centuries. The area is traditionally favourable to olive growing, so much so that it is known as the 'golden triangle' of Abruzzo; formed by Pianella, Loreto Aprutino and Moscufo, it guarantees an average of 250,000 quintals of olives annually. The hills that host the 7 hectares of olive groves, enriched by thousands of centuries-old trees, have led the company to be recognised beyond national borders.
