The idea was precisely that of being able to play with our other two native grapes, Passerina and Pecorino, to make a white wine that broke the mold and the rules, combining the power of Pecorino, the acidity of Passerina and the minerality of Falanghina .

It was in 1971 that we registered in the DOC register the rows of white grapes we had with the denomination of Trebbiano, grapes that we actually called "Uva Passera"; then we discovered that the official denomination was "Passerina", in any case from the Trebbiani family as confirmed by ampelographs and today also by DNA analyses.
