Tenuta Ferrante is a young winemaking reality, started in 2008, in a not exactly idyllic national economic context. Tommaso Ferrante, driven by the passion for the land and its most precious fruit, wine, inherited from his maternal grandfather Donato, begins to embark on a complex path but full of feeling, goodness and quality of the grown products.
The estate has about 6 hectares entirely cultivated in Guyot row breeding. The hilly lands are wisely chosen and give a peculiarity to each wine.
The excellence of the wines of Tenuta Ferrante begins with the care of the vines, obtained through a specific pruning, distinction of the bunches and above all harvesting of the grapes by hand in crates (to avoid spontaneous fermentation), and continues in the cellar, with the vinification at a controlled temperature and the constant use of natural oxygen protectants.
The Ferrante estate has about 6 hectares entirely cultivated in Guyot row breeding. The hilly lands are wisely chosen and give a peculiarity to each wine, the estate is lucky enough to see the vines grow between the Majella and the Adriatic: a unique possibility of exploiting a microclimate, with temperature ranges ideal for the development of the vine . In fact, thanks to the mountain currents and the sea breeze, the grapes take on different chemical and aromatic characteristics, which are fundamental to the originality of our wines.
