A wine of excellence, made from organic Pecorino DOCG Tullum grapes. Spontaneous fermentation, no filtration, only natural sulphites.

Pecorino with a bright color and crunchy in the mouth. Obtained with a pied de cuve to start the spontaneous fermentation, it requires a pre-harvest (from which the fermentation must will be obtained), and a subsequent harvest whose mass is primed to ferment about 18 days in steel fermenters. Aged in steel tanks on the fine lees for 3 months and bottled without filtration or stabilization. Any deposit testifies to the integrity of the wine.

Complex and refined, this wine comes from the selection of our best pecorino bunches and is enriched in its structure thanks to the particular vinification technique, which sees it rest for a few months on the lees.

Pecorino Igp 100% with vineyards on the hills facing West, South-West of Miglianico, at 250 meters. above sea level, with clayey-loamy soils. The breeding is Abruzzo pergola with 10-12 year old vines, 1,600 plants per hectare with a yield of 140 q.

TASTE

The taste is intense, with good persistence, fresh and savory on the palate. Aftertaste rich in spicy nuances.

Straw yellow color with golden reflections. Fruity and floral bouquet with hints of balsamic herbs, hawthorn and banana. Enveloping taste, it is very warm in the mouth and is supported by a good acidity. It goes well with robust first courses, white meats, broths and roasted fish.

It is a brut sparkling wine with a wide and persistent froth, fine and continuous perlage, a light straw color. The aroma is intense and balanced finesse. The full flavor expresses the typicality of the production area.

The name "Nerie" is linked to the name of a valiant Etruscan leader. In the archaeological excavations carried out in Villalfonsina in 1914, many artifacts were found that highlight the presence in the 6th-5th century BC of trade with the Etruscan area. Among others, bronze statuettes depicting a knight on horseback and a red impasto olla bearing the silhouette of the same knight and the inscription “ne” (probable abbreviation of the individual name Nerie). The label of our “Nerie” is inspired by a bronze disc with the aforementioned rider on horseback in relief. The wine shows a deep straw yellow color with golden hues and greenish reflections. Floral, aromatic, very pleasant on the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, persistent and with excellent freshness due to the consistent acid structure of the grape.
