It is the perfect glass for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open up" (that is to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex endowment) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.
The name "Morandium" recalls the ancient Frentano place of worship, located near the Olearia & Vinicola Villese winery, characterized by the presence of a sanctuary active between the third and first centuries BC and a necropolis whose finds are exhibited at the museum national museum of Chieti and the civic museum of Vasto. We are at Morra, Serradenari, on soils from the Messinian period with a sandy loam texture with a strong presence of calcareous marl. At about 480m with a south-west exposure, the pure Nebbiolo grapes are vinified with spontaneous fermentation in truncated cone-shaped vats, macerating for about 40 days. The wine then ages for 30 months in 25-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
Giulia Negri 's Barolo "La Tartufaia" is the producer's personal vision of the "La Morra" area who skilfully transforms the Nebbiolo grapes into an important and elegant red wine, with a deep and fine taste. On the nose the aromas are of red fruit, berries with notes of tobacco and licorice. On the palate it is full-bodied, enveloping with silky tannins and earthy and bloody sensations that close the sip.

Meticulous selection of the grapes, with subsequent soft pressing and fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature. The sparkling base ages for 7 months in steel on the lees. At the end a long refermentation in the bottle for 30 months which leads the wine to have a more intense and decisive body. Pouring it into the glass, it reveals itself with beautiful straw-colored nuances with marked floral scents and flan bread crust. The excellence of Franciacorta from the Le Vedute house, expression of balance and very long persistence.
Grape selection. Subsequently they are cold macerated for 12 hours, and pressed. The sparkling base obtained ages for 7 months in steel on the fine lees. To complete the production cycle, another long refinement in the bottle for 26 months. Pouring it into the glass, it reveals itself with beautiful soft pink nuances, and begins to inebriate with hints of red and black fruits, such as blueberry and cherry. On the palate then a wonderful balance between the acidic note and the tannins, which make it an excellent accompanying sparkling wine.

Important red wine whose vines are grown on volcanic soil on the hills of Taurasi. When we took over our small company close to the city of Siena twenty years ago, in the first place we replanted a large part of the vineyards and, on the occasion, above all out of curiosity and a great desire for knowledge and experimentation, we introduced into our viticultural heritage proudly Tuscan, even a very modest quantity of Merlot vines. Since this very small vineyard has reached a good physiological maturity we vinify it in purity and we mature it in a French oak tonneau. The result is a wine of excellence, truly particular and intriguing that we offer, given the small and non-reproducible quantity, in our Personal Edition.
When we took over our small company twenty years ago near the city of Siena, in addition to a very small plot of Merlot, we planted 7 rows of Cabernet Franc. The first in Tuscany, not to be different, but because by studying our terroir we realized that it had those characteristics whereby the Cabernet Franc grapes, if properly ripened and well vinified and aged, could offer us a wine that is not for everyone , but exciting and strongly character. The first years of production disappointed our expectations, a wine that was too herbaceous and tannic but, from the tenth harvest, when the plants reached their physiological maturity, here was the big surprise: a fruity wine where the raspberry replaced the herbaceous, thick, intense and almost moving. Given the very small quantity that we are able to produce, it has rightfully become part of the wines of our Personal Edition.
Our first edition is that of 1995 entirely produced in San Gimignano and that, even today, when we taste one of the last bottles that we have kept in the cellar excites us! Since 2017, when our vineyards in Siena have reached a good maturity, our persevering oenological curiosity to understand how the same blend produced in a different territory would have behaved has meant that, thanks to the fantastic 2017 harvest, we have put to mature a barrique of Sangiovese, one of Merlot and one of Cabernet Sauvignon. After 18 months of blending and, with great emotion, we understood that that very little wine of great depth deserved to be bottled and here is our Rovaio Personal Edition.
Our Chianti Colli Senesi is born from the ancient typicality of this centenary wine aimed at interpreting a new tradition. The vines used are those of the past, only autochthonous and Tuscan, red and white. The Sangiovese bunches, which are 95% of our Chianti, are those of the oldest plants we have in the company, which ripen well beyond the time of the new clones, small and loose bunches, but with a thick skin rich in polyphenols and aromas , crunchy and sugary.

Valentina was arrogant, know-it-all, presumptuous, like her beauty, pure, alive, unique. If you wanted to define her in one word, there was no more suitable adjective: vain. At every step there was no mirror in which she didn't like to reflect herself, shop windows were her favorite mirrors because the whole city was full of them; the mirrors of the boutiques and beauty salons represented a daily practice in which to look in the mirror; even the pure porcelain saucers of the bistros were an excellent mirror for her, when, raising her cup to sip tea, she admired her reflection.
In 1950, in the town of Paterdoro there was a young girl, known for her long red hair who everyone called disconsolate, as her handsome boyfriend, a colonel in the Italian army had gone to war and never returned. The people of the village tried to bring comfort to the young woman, who gave her bouquets of fresh flowers just picked in the field, who gave her baskets of wild strawberries just to make her smile.

The carefully selected grapes are pressed directly with the aid of inert gases in order to avoid any potential oxidation. The must obtained is clarified with a stop at a low temperature which allows decantation. The clean fraction is sent to fermentation with the addition of a part of skins and indigenous yeasts. During the fermentation phase, regular punching down is carried out which allows the extraction of natural tannins from the peel which preserve the integrity of the wine. At the end of fermentation, the wine obtained is decanted with the aid of inert gases and ages for 3 months on the yeasts that carried out the fermentation, followed by stabilization and bottling.

Its robe is of a bright yellow colour, with intervals of greenish reflections. As it enters the glass, Riesling releases a multifaceted bouquet, the first scent that is perceived is sweet and ripe yellow peach. Notes of pineapple with the right point of ripeness, prickly pears and fresh grapefruit follow immediately afterwards. As it passes, the palate is filled with minerality, its juicy and exotic taste is incomparably mineral and refreshing. Hours in which emotion and passion gracefully distort reality, transforming discussions around wine into pleasant journeys through history, culture and places, without moving from the table. Whenever wine is on the table, in the glass, it becomes a means for those who are passionate about it for long and passionate conversations. Culture, art, gastronomy mix with the evocation of the places where wine is produced, a virtual journey that extends for hours. Time and space confuse, wrap around flavors, colors and aromas, evoking emotions that come from often unknown lands.
Purgatory: it is the place of production, an ancient district of Etna, one among thousands. A land of choice. Where the wine has a strong character without mediation, such as the interpretation I have given and will always give to Etna wines.
Kudos is a white wine from an ancient, elegant and profound vineyard. Acidity and thickness played on the blade of the knife, to be drunk young or stored for years, according to his own inspiration
Malvasia Colle Trà comes from a long Malvasia clone, native to the Vibratian territory with tight and elongated clusters. Due to its turgid and at the same time fragile grapes, it is more easily subject to rot, therefore it is not always possible to vinify it every year.
It has an amber yellow color with golden reflections. The aromas are intense and persistent and recall dried and candied fruit…
Important sparkling wine with a fine and persistent perlage. The bubbles that caress the palate enhance the finesse and elegance of the wine… The project of producing a classic method with native vines was born a long time ago with an enormous passion for bubbles and culminates, after years of study, in the production of the first local classic method e especially with the wonderful possibility of maturing this wine inside the caves of Toirano (SV) winding and suggestive in one of the most beautiful corners of Liguria. The caves represent the perfect cellar and "basura" is the witch who gives her name to one of the most suggestive rooms. A short distance away from the remains of the cave bear and from the evidence of prehistoric man who lived 12,000 years ago rest the our bottles in the darkness, silence, cold and constant humidity of the cave. The right synergy capable of enhancing this portion of the western Ligurian hinterland as unique in its beauty as in its harshness.

An incredible Nero d'Avola summer red, fruity and fresh. To be drunk young, vinified in steel tanks only, it manages to amaze with a delicate explosion of Mediterranean aromas. Ideal as an aperitif, it lends itself to any type of gastronomic combination. Pleasant even between meals.
This wine, which represents the Molise typicality, is obtained from the native vine of the region: the Tintilia. A recently re-evaluated variety, it is characterized by the difficulty of breeding and harvesting and by low productivity which had led to its abandonment in the past. The wine produced is slightly tannic, ruby red in color with spicy varietal notes. It is recommended to serve the wine at a temperature of 18°C. It is best expressed with hors d'oeuvres, fresh cheeses, cured meats, white meats.
Brilliant in color with pale greenish-yellow reflections. The bouquet is very fine, fruity, with a hint of ripe apple characteristic of the vine of origin. Pleasantly fresh taste on the palate, it maintains an aromatic and gustatory persistence.
Our Pecorino Soprano Strappelli comes from a rather young vine of about 20 years. It is the earliest of the white vines; its harvest during the first week of September opens the dances of the grape harvest. The name Soprano was born to associate the strong voice of the Soprano with the strong character of Pecorino.
Our Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane docg “Colle Trà” also comes from the traditional R7 clone of the Teramo Hills. Its production starts with a careful selection of the grapes, and then undergoes a long maceration phase in the cellar triggering a spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. A stop in oak barrels for 18 months represents the last phase before the refinement in the bottle.
Montepulciano DOC100% with vineyards on the hills, with clayey soils that tend to be calcareous. The breeding is pergola Abruzzo with thirty-year vines, 1600 vines per hectare with a yield of 100 q.
A great red wine, it takes its name from Montepulciano, a Renaissance city in the province of Siena, which dominates the wide and verdant Valdichiana from the top of a hill. The appellation of "Nobile" seems to derive not only from its intrinsic qualities of finesse and elegance, but also from the fact that in the past the production of this wine was particularly cared for by the noble families of the city.
