It is an excellent wine, well structured, obtained from the selection of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

During the harvest, only the perfectly ripe bunches are selected. The maceration on the skins lasts at least 15 days, after which the wine passes into used barriques where the malolactic fermentation takes place. The refinement lasts 12 months and only then is it bottled. The mouth is full-bodied with an intense structure and evident tannins. Recommended with red meat main courses.

Grape selection. Subsequently they are cold macerated for 12 hours, and pressed. The sparkling base obtained ages for 7 months in steel on the fine lees. To complete the production cycle, another long refinement in the bottle for 26 months. Pouring it into the glass, it reveals itself with beautiful soft pink nuances, and begins to inebriate with hints of red and black fruits, such as blueberry and cherry. On the palate then a wonderful balance between the acidic note and the tannins, which make it an excellent accompanying sparkling wine.

Meticulous selection of the grapes, with subsequent soft pressing and fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature. The sparkling base ages for 7 months in steel on the lees. At the end a long refermentation in the bottle for 30 months which leads the wine to have a more intense and decisive body. Pouring it into the glass, it reveals itself with beautiful straw-colored nuances with marked floral scents and flan bread crust. While the aging on the lees lasts another 24 months in the bottle. Beautiful cloudy straw yellow colour. Fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it has floral hints of white flowers which complement the hints of bread crust and yeasts. On the palate it is very persistent due to the part of the wine that is barricaded; with a good persistence given by the acidic content.

This blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot is the entry wine of the range produced by La Madonnina. It is vinified in steel and aged in French oak barriques for 16 months.

A 100% Syrah that represents the maximum expression of the estate's production, the result of an extreme selection in terms of quality and particularity of the grapes and their winemaking process.

Passito red wine IGT from the hills of Mantua Alto Mincio This great wine is obtained from various carefully selected grapes and left to dry on the vine for 40/50 days. Its great personality is captivating on the palate of the taster. Dark red colour, characteristic aroma of fruity, spicy, undergrowth and cherry.

Mark is a winemaker and comes from California. I, Helvetia, am Friulian. We met in Sicily in 1997. In 1998 Mark proposed that I visit Puglia to see the old Primitivo vineyards. According to studies by the University of Davis in California Primitivo and Californian Zinfandel are genetically identical.

When we took over our small company close to the city of Siena twenty years ago, in the first place we replanted a large part of the vineyards and, on the occasion, above all out of curiosity and a great desire for knowledge and experimentation, we introduced into our viticultural heritage proudly Tuscan, even a very modest quantity of Merlot vines. Since this very small vineyard has reached a good physiological maturity we vinify it in purity and we mature it in a French oak tonneau. The result is a wine of excellence, truly particular and intriguing that we offer, given the small and non-reproducible quantity, in our Personal Edition.

When we took over our small company twenty years ago near the city of Siena, in addition to a very small plot of Merlot, we planted 7 rows of Cabernet Franc. The first in Tuscany, not to be different, but because by studying our terroir we realized that it had those characteristics whereby the Cabernet Franc grapes, if properly ripened and well vinified and aged, could offer us a wine that is not for everyone , but exciting and strongly character. The first years of production disappointed our expectations, a wine that was too herbaceous and tannic but, from the tenth harvest, when the plants reached their physiological maturity, here was the big surprise: a fruity wine where the raspberry replaced the herbaceous, thick, intense and almost moving. Given the very small quantity that we are able to produce, it has rightfully become part of the wines of our Personal Edition.

Our first edition is that of 1995 entirely produced in San Gimignano and that, even today, when we taste one of the last bottles that we have kept in the cellar excites us! Since 2017, when our vineyards in Siena have reached a good maturity, our persevering oenological curiosity to understand how the same blend produced in a different territory would have behaved has meant that, thanks to the fantastic 2017 harvest, we have put to mature a barrique of Sangiovese, one of Merlot and one of Cabernet Sauvignon. After 18 months of blending and, with great emotion, we understood that that very little wine of great depth deserved to be bottled and here is our Rovaio Personal Edition.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva La Lastra is produced with Vernaccia grapes (98%) and percentages of Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca lunga del Chianti grown organically at about 280 meters above sea level. The grape harvest takes place between mid and late September with manual selection of the bunches. Long fermentation and aging take place in barriques and steel, guaranteeing structure and longevity to this important white. On the nose the bouquet is rich with notes of flowers, citrus fruits, spices and mineral hints. On the palate it is full, sapid and elegant.

Vernaccia Di San Gimignano La Lastra is an organic white wine with an intense straw yellow colour. The nose reveals mineral notes, tropical fruit and citrus. In the mouth it is sapid, fresh and persistent.

Our Chianti Colli Senesi is born from the ancient typicality of this centenary wine aimed at interpreting a new tradition. The vines used are those of the past, only autochthonous and Tuscan, red and white. The Sangiovese bunches, which are 95% of our Chianti, are those of the oldest plants we have in the company, which ripen well beyond the time of the new clones, small and loose bunches, but with a thick skin rich in polyphenols and aromas , crunchy and sugary.

Paint | Rosè Brut sparkling wine of a soft pink color with slight more intense reflections, good foam. The perlage is fine and persistent. The scent is fresh, floral, with notes of red apple, cherry and bread crust. The taste is lively, balanced, with a fresh acidity.

Spumante Brut Varnish is crystalline in colour, yellow with greenish reflections, with a light, fine, rapid perlage. It has a pleasant, fruity, floral, intense, flagrant aroma. On the palate, a development of CO2, lively acidity, good acidity/sugar balance.

Wine produced from the vinification of Aglianico grapes from bicentenary vineyards that survived the phylloxera parasite that almost entirely destroyed the vineyards in Europe in the 1950s. The longevity of these vineyards inspired the name of this wine, available in limited quantities.

The name "Suadens" was carefully selected to represent the persuasive character of this wine, which constitutes a molecular project aimed at enhancing not only the native vines of Irpinia, but also the typical local fruit, grown exclusively in this area.

Eremo San Quirico ‐ Aglianico Campi Taurasini DOC Important red wine whose vines are grown on volcanic soil on the hills of Taurasi. The name of our wine derives from the place where horses were once said to graze in the wild, and where the remains of the ancient hermitage of S. Quirico can still be found. A wine so precious as to dress it with a work of art by the contemporary painter Moreno Bondi.

Valentina was arrogant, know-it-all, presumptuous, like her beauty, pure, alive, unique. If you wanted to define her in one word, there was no more suitable adjective: vain. At every step there was no mirror in which she didn't like to reflect herself, shop windows were her favorite mirrors because the whole city was full of them; the mirrors of the boutiques and beauty salons represented a daily practice in which to look in the mirror; even the pure porcelain saucers of the bistros were an excellent mirror for her, when, raising her cup to sip tea, she admired her reflection.

In 1950, in the town of Paterdoro there was a young girl, known for her long red hair who everyone called disconsolate, as her handsome boyfriend, a colonel in the Italian army had gone to war and never returned. The people of the village tried to bring comfort to the young woman, who gave her bouquets of fresh flowers just picked in the field, who gave her baskets of wild strawberries just to make her smile.

It is an aromatic variety that has its origins in South Tyrol. Its exclusive and unmistakable aroma owes it to the warm and sunny soils. It is a golden yellow wine with typical aromas reminiscent of rose petals, nutmeg spices and cloves.

A characteristic of this wine is its aromatic intensity, reminiscent of ripe fruit and nutmeg. On the palate, its natural residual sugar and acidity make it a pleasant aperitif wine.

This noble variety expresses a particular character thanks to the microclimate of our vineyards. Thus was born an expressive and savory Sauvignon, characterized by notes of elderflower and various exotic fruits.

Pinot Noir ranks among the most important wines in the world. Scrupulously cared for and after careful selection, this elegant and velvety wine recalls hints of red berries and wild cherries.

An aromatic white wine, intensive and typical in its bouquet with light notes of Muscat, fresh and aromatic to the taste.

This variety is distinguished by its typical aroma reminiscent of exotic fruits. It is a fresh wine on the palate and with a balanced body.

This selection of the Schiava grape gives a typically South Tyrolean light wine. Its aroma recalls violets and cherries, it is characterized on the palate by its softness and its low tannin and alcohol content.

This wine is one of the best known products from the Schiava grape. It has a wide range of fruity aromas and stands out for its fullness and roundness on the palate.
