Centorame 's Montepulciano Castellum Vetus Centorame made from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in the Atri area, in the province of Teramo, at an average altitude of 200 meters above sea level. The vineyards of origin are exposed to east-west and insist on clayey soils, of medium texture. After harvesting and soft pressing, the grapes were fermented with a long maceration of 30 days in contact with the marc. The refinement took place for 15 months in 225 liter French oak barrels characterized by medium toasting and fine grain.
