Forcole Tenuta Degli Dei, pure Sangiovese, is born on a three-hectare vineyard located a few kilometers from the central body of the company's vineyards and facing south. After vinification, it matured 10 months in 2nd and 3rd passage tonneaux and the last 4 months was aged in non-vitrified concrete tanks. The result is a hymn to the best tradition of the denomination, including pleasure and fruit.
The harvest takes place in the second week of October, when the phenolic maturity is reached with manual harvesting. VITIFICATION: destemming of the grapes, contact of the skins with the must for 7-10 days in a steel vat at a T° from 18 to 28 °C, separation of the skins and transfer of the must-wine into a steel tank for the completion of the fermentation malolactic. REFINING - STORAGE: maturation in steel tanks for 5-6 months and brief refinement in the bottle before being released for consumption.
The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Doc of Nic Tartaglia 's company is produced with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. The training system adopted is the typical Abruzzo pergola. The vineyard is about 21 years old and is located 300 meters above sea level in a particularly windy position. For the Trebbiano D'Abruzzo "Di Mare" a careful selection of the grapes is carried out from the oldest vineyards, located in the best hilly areas of the company territory. Collected in small boxes. The grapes are processed as follows: destemming of the grapes and cold pre-fermentation maceration at 8/10° C for about 12 hours. Soft pressing and natural cold debourbage for 24/36 hours. Fermentation of the juice in steel at a controlled temperature of 14/16 °C. Aging on fine lees for 90/120 days. Cleaning of the wine and further aging in steel for 6/8 months. Bottling and aging in the bottle for about 12 months.
