The Teroldego vine is a native variety of Trentino and finds its ideal development environment in the Piana Rotaliana. The word "Teroldego" seems to derive from "Tiroler Gold" (gold of Tyrol), the name by which this wine was indicated at the Court of Vienna during the Austro-Hungarian empire; from this denomination “Tiroldico” would later derive and later, Teroldego. Intense ruby red in color with garnet reflections, it is characterized by rich aromas of wild berries and subtle vanilla notes. After the destemming and crushing, the crushed grapes are cooled immediately at a temperature of 12°C and left in contact with the skins for 12 – 16 hours. In this period of time the natural enzymes of the must allow a release of the aromatic components, linked to the skin, accentuating the structure and the typical varietal characteristics of the vine. After this period, the must is delicately separated from the skins and fermented intact, without clarification, at a controlled temperature for about 14 days.

Straw yellow color tending towards greenish. Delicate and pleasant aroma reminiscent of wild flowers; it has a dry taste with a soft and velvety taste and a bitter almond aftertaste.
