Cerasuolo dAbruzzo is obtained from the white vinification of Montepulciano dAbruzzo grapes. To the eye it is cherry pink, clear, limpid and brilliant to the eye. The nose opens with floral and fruity notes, in particular from the reference to strawberries, pomegranates and red cherries. In the mouth it is of great freshness, medium-bodied and has a nice persistence, supported by an acid-savory combination, then marked by a typically irresistible almond finish.

Obtained from the white vinification of Montepulciano grapes, with a selection of the ripest bunches in an early harvest. The Passerina vineyards are located in the cooler areas of the Casalbordino area with exposure mainly to the north with medium-textured, loose and fresh soils at an altitude of 100-150 meters slm sea level The harvest takes place in the second half of September, when full maturity is reached technological, with manual harvesting in the coolest hours of the day. Destemming of the grapes and contact of the skins with the must for 8 hours at a T° of 12 °C, separation of the must from the skins, clarification by decantation and transfer of the clear must into a steel tank for alcoholic fermentation at a T° of 16 °C with inoculation of selected yeasts. 4 months in steel tanks in contact with the fine lees, aging in the bottle for about 20 days before being released for consumption. It has a brilliant straw yellow colour. On the nose a delicate, fine bouquet, with floral sensations and fresh notes of ripe tropical fruit. Cherry-colored, produced from the “Montepulciano d'Abruzzo” grape, after a light maceration with the skin, it passes into the bottle that contains the delicate perfume. The flavor is soft with an almond aftertaste. It goes well with all meals. Serve at a temperature of 12-14 degrees 13.5% VOL.

No secrets. No makeup. This Chardonnay Terre di Chieti PGI Bisanzio proposed by Codice Citra is a simple, but pleasant, white wine to be served throughout the meal. When on the table, of course, the sea and its fruits dominate. Served chilled it can also represent a valid alternative to the classic aperitif bubble. At 90%, guests will propose to continue with the same glass once dinner is served. It comes from pure Chardonnay grapes, harvested at flat ripening in the vineyards located near Ortona, in the province of Chieti. Soft pressing and cold maceration to obtain a limpid must which, once decanted, can be fermented, strictly at a controlled temperature to preserve all the goodness of its aromas, in stainless steel tanks. The result is a white, delicately scented, with a brilliant straw color. The nose reveals the warmth of its homeland well. Chardonnay, in fact, shows notes of tropical fruit and yellow flesh. In the mouth, however, it is above all fresh and well balanced in all its components.

Bisanzio, Montepulciano DOP with the Codice Citra , is a beautiful example of the potential of Montepulciano. A vine rich in character, perfect for giving life to wines destined for a long aging, but which is also able to express itself at its best in products, like this one, born to be enjoyed from an early age. The vinification is traditional, with a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. For aging, after a short rest in steel tanks, it is passed into wooden barrels capable of enhancing its organoleptic characteristics. Intense ruby red color, the nose has an elegant bouquet, in which hints of black cherry and wild berries are combined with notes of black pepper, cocoa and balsamic aromas. In the mouth it reveals a full, harmonious wine, with a nice tannin, typical for the Montepulciano grape. The finish is long and pleasant.

The wine is aged for 6 months in concrete tanks on its own fine yeasts and subsequently bottled without filtration. The grapes are grown and processed in the Miglianico area under organic farming. Wine suitable for long aging if left in ideal storage conditions.
