From the strength of more than 330 indigenous producers and the desire to enhance wine production through respect for these lands and for their native wines, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Pecorino and Passerina, our Cantina was born: the Cantina dei Colli Ripani.
Wine is an extremely complex sector, where it is not always easy to tell how much work and sacrifice goes into a bottle of wine. Increasingly, in order to continue to safeguard this ancient tradition over time, new forms of work organisation are required that focus primarily on respect for the product and transparent customer loyalty: this is how, and why, a social wine cellar like ours was born.
We function like a classic cooperative. Our work is based on sharing, collaboration and profit sharing, so we minimise production costs and do not give up the quality of our products. We transform the raw materials that we, the members, cultivate with commitment every day into wine, oil, barley and coffee. Like every cooperative, we have our own regulations: that is, we provide for the administration of the work, how we earn money, our expenses, and the rights and duties of producer members.
Origin and territory,
passion and uniqueness.
These are some of the words that, together with commitment and respect, make up our vocabulary. We are a cooperative company that has chosen to tell the value of the land through our vineyards and our people. A plot as dense and intense as the features of the landscape that, every day, we strive to make so unique and special.
As a winery, we support our members and coordinate all stages of the process: from work in the countryside to the transformation of raw materials into finished product and its marketing. Only in this way are we certain to offer and guarantee a unique and meticulously controlled result along the entire production chain. At the same time, strengthened by a common passion and united by the same values, we can have confidence in an agricultural income that concretely defends the viticulture of our land and guarantees its environmental sustainability.
