Tenuta Pian delle Vigne is located 6 km south of Montalcino, above the Val d'Orcia and takes its name from a characteristic 19th century railway station located within the estate. The company consists of about 184 hectares of which about 65 are planted with vineyards with a predominantly south-east exposure and an altitude between 130 and 200 meters above sea level.

It has a fine ruby red color, with a hint that is already visibly garnet. Time knows how to appreciate this extraordinary Nebbiolo very well. On the nose there are notes of small ripe red fruits of the undergrowth, cherry jam, licorice, delicate spices. An excellent balance.
