Every year the "Nero" of the Conti Zecca winery reaches the "finals" in the judgments of the most renowned wine guides, obtaining scores that, if they do not exceed 90 cents, are punctually very close. This year too is no exception. It is a wine that follows a long aging: it ages 18 months in French wooden barriques, one year in large oak barrels and six months in bottle.

We now have the new Piandimare white wine. Despite the strong vocation for red wines, after the experience with rosés, our cellar proves to be a great interpreter of the territory even with white berried grapes such as Pecorino, a typical Abruzzo vine. Pecorino grapes are harvested in the early hours of the morning , during the second ten days of September. The grapes are softly pressed and then fermented at a controlled temperature in steel tanks.On the nose our Pecorino opens with great aromas of white peach, pear, pineapple, fuji apple and acacia flowers. It is perfect for an elegant aperitif with a selection of soft and semi-soft cheeses accompanied by spicy vegetables.

2020 vintage

It is clear with a cherry color that refers to the ruby of the Montepulciano dAbruzzo grape from which it is? born. The nose is intense with a rich basket of small red fruits, mainly ripe sour cherries, in harmony with small petals of red gold. It closes the nose with a slight spiciness of sweet spices. In the mouth it enters dry, decisive, austere, in the center of the mouth the freshness and richness of mineral salts explodes in particular. Intense and persistent through the nose.

In 1895, Federico Martinotti patented his method for the second fermentation of a sparkling wine in a closed container. Our sparkling wine Rosé Brut is born today from fermentation in autoclave, which enhances its fruity and floral notes.

The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Doc of Nic Tartaglia 's company is produced with 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. The training system adopted is the typical Abruzzo pergola. The vineyard is about 21 years old and is located 300 meters above sea level in a particularly windy position. After manual harvesting towards the end of September, the grapes are softly pressed and static clarified. Refine a few months in steel. A fresh, intense, quite soft and harmonious wine.
