The desire to try our hand at the production of artisanal wines with historical and indigenous varieties is one of the reasons that led us to produce this Trebbiano. The grapes from the oldest vineyard we have on the farm are harvested by hand in September, and then they are pressed and pressed in order to obtain the must to be used for vinification. Alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously by indigenous yeasts through the preparation of a "pied de cuve", created by selecting the ripest grapes before their harvest. Since 2018 Trebbiano Fosso Cancelli is vinified and aged partly in terracotta amphorae and partly in Slavonian oak barrels.
Our Triluna is born from a skilful blend of Chardonnay , Sauvignon and aromatic Malvasia grapes, harvested manually in slight over-ripening: a perfect balance of floral fragrances and persuasive references to ripe fruit and honey. The history of this agricultural production is intertwined with the history of 2 families. The Castellina property, in the Montupoli district in the Miglianico area, was purchased by Rocco Di Tomo, originally from Miglianico, but emigrated to Venezuela in search of fortune. At the cost of sacrifices and years of work away from his family, in 1957 he managed to purchase a vast land property in the Montupoli area, to leave to his children. For a very long time these lands were used exclusively for the subsistence of the large family. Subsequently, the younger daughters Maria and Anna, after inheriting the current property on their father's death in 1972, married the brothers Mario and Franco Aurora, who had also been involved in the agricultural machinery sector for many years. From the love for the land and its product, and supported by the numerous approvals received from anyone who tasted the Rosso Castellina wine and the extra virgin olive oil, the idea arose of giving the Rosso Castellina farm a more entrepreneurial, whose mission is to have as a result quality products of authenticity, naturalness in respect of tradition, also thanks to the characteristics of the territory and the climate particularly favorable to viticulture. But the production of wines cannot be improvised, so our company has relied on the professionalism and experience of the owner of Chiusa Grande , Mr. Franco D'Eusanio, a graduate in Agricultural Sciences and an esteemed consultant for wineries.

Here we are at the second wine in the Oltremare line, created with the aim of offering the young public an immediate and pleasant product. Actually, apart from the commercial motivation, I would say that if a wine is good we can all appreciate it, indiscriminately. The Rosato 2020 has already shown that the approach is the right one, and the fact of also proposing the red version of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo vinified and matured only in steel confirms the desire to give these two wines a very precise style, played on captivating aromas, moderate alcohol content and a balanced energy to the taste. They say that the colour also plays its part, here a beautiful bright and deep ruby, while the range of aromas offers notes of rose, strawberry, cherry, blackberry, blueberry and a subtle hint of blood orange. The taste shows all the expressive thrust of Montepulciano, with a freshness comparable to that of a white wine, the fruitiness is full and enriched by nuances of cocoa and liquorice, the tannin has that slight bite that serves to remind us that it is not a 'little wine', that it does not last a year and that at the table it can also hold up to dishes of a certain structure and fatness.

The great personality of this white, the result of our careful clonal selection for over twenty years, allows a versatile and all-meal combination.
Festa Noria di Santadi is a fortified wine of great richness, breadth and depth, made from Cannonau grapes and aged in small barrels for several years. The olfactory spectrum is rich in dried fruit, sweet spices, aromatic and balsamic herbs. The sip is sweet, robust and structured, with great structure and balance.
A great red with a rich and intense bouquet reminiscent of morello cherries and dried fruit, the flagship product of one of the best wineries in Sardinia
IL PALEO IS LE MACCHIOLE, THE COMPANY'S REFERENCE WINE. FIRST RED BORN IN THE HOUSE REPRESENTS THE ESTATE IN A GREAT WAY, LETTING THAT TOUCH OF ROMANCE THAT SO MUCH DISTINGUISHES THE SPOTS DISAPPEARED. OBTAINED FROM THE VINIFICATION OF SOLO CABERNET FRANC, IT HAS HINTS OF BLACK FRUITS, SAGE, ROSEMARY, CICCOLATO AND SPICES. IN THE MOUTH IT IS SOFT AND AGGRESSED, WITH A FEMININE AND SEDUCTIVE SILKNESS.
A wine of great impact that combines the territorial characteristics of Sangiovese with the international ones of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It has a powerful and impetuous personality , it is impenetrable in its splendid dark glass bottle that suggests the ability of a long aging. It is produced only in the most favorable years, as proof of its exclusivity, from grapes grown in the vineyards of the Montalcino estate, on the hill of the same name at an altitude of 200 meters. It saw the light in 1985 and is among the first Montalcino Supertuscans .
The Chardonnay Fontanelle di Banfi is a velvety and enveloping expression of white in a land of reds and presents itself with a straw yellow color with golden reflections and releases to the nose varietal hints typical of the grape used with notes of white peach and fresh apricot, framed by delicate aromas of butter and vanilla. On the palate it is soft and fresh, with an aromatic finish of crunchy fruit.
Intense mauve red color. The nose is extremely rich, fruity and spicy with notes of plum jam, as well as hints of vanilla and licorice. The body is broad and enveloping with sweet but important tannins. A wine of great elegance and harmony.
For the whole meal, it is perfect with legume soups, bread soups, grilled meats and medium-aged cheeses.
